So like two or three weeks ago a massive storm came through my town and our local drive-in was brutally murdered. Luckily the little Volkswagen survived!!!! We are hoping that the owners choose to rebuild the screen. I see no reason not to as it brings in a lot of monies.

Wow, I hope they do. Drive-ins are becoming quite the rare breed. The last one I've seen in operation was when I was about 5. There are still a few screens around here, but they're never in use.

Yeah, there's a few in my area but this one is only 5 minutes from my house and people from all over come up on the weekend for the show. It's totally worth rebuilding.

Really? What region do you live in? I've been all over the western half of the USA, and I only know of one that's still operating as a theater (in Denver). That's crazy that you have multiple near you.

CNY/ Upstate NY. There's maybe two or three within 4 hours of me. You don't see them often but if you're in the country you might run into one.
